It quickly evolved into an inclusive platform under the tagline “Voice of the Lazy & Unemployed”.
Why Was the CJP Founded?
The movement was sparked by a controversial statement made on 15 May 2026 during a Supreme Court hearing. The Chief Justice of India, Surya Kant, referred to certain social media activists and unemployed youth as “cockroaches” and “parasites of society”.
Reclaiming the insult, the CJP grew into a massive online movement with over 22 million Instagram followers within weeks.
Though judicial clarifications were issued later, the comment triggered intense national outrage. Dipke weaponised the insult, reasoning that like the resilient insect, the ordinary youth of India refuse to disappear under systemic oppression.

The CJP’s transition from URL to IRL (In Real Life) peaked during their “Sansad Chalo” (March to Parliament) rally at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
